Ophthalmology Scholars Society

A place for eye enthusiasts everywhere.

Welcome to OSS

We are an organization by students, for students. OSS provides aspiring ophthalmologists a space to share their thoughts, ideas, and genuine interest in ophthalmology.

What we have so far:

  • A blog featuring hot, new ophthalmology topics every month
  • A community full of eyeball-lovers
  • New activities every week, including:
    • Eye Journal Club
    • Interactive PBL cases
    • Lectures and post-lecture quizzes
    • Special Guest Interviews
    • And more!

What we have planned for the future:

  • Live meet-ups
  • Campaigns and events
  • Tutorials and workshops

Who is welcome to join?

  • Medical students
  • Interns
  • Residents
  • Fellows
  • Anyone with a genuine interest in ophthalmology!

What is our goal?

Growth.

Research.

Reaching our full potential as thinkers.

“Research is to see what everybody else has seen, and to think what nobody else has thought.”

— Albert Szent-Gyorgi

Thoughts lead to interesting ideas. Interesting ideas lead to new discoveries. As an ophthalmologist-to-be, your thoughts matter, so let’s talk about them.
